OK women lets do the same to men, lets beat them if they don't obey. As far as I know God means man and woman, so it means both.
To be honest any beating is wrong man, woman, child or animal. The God I know and believe in is a kind loving and caring God. I no longe believe in any one kind of religion, but I love God and care about his world. As Jesus says the people in the churches are hypocrites!! Linda Critchley
