I think it it more disturbing when churches actually fully accept what they are really doing.

Reminds me of that recent conversation AUUB had with Chess83.
That sign says it all. The whole problem is described in a nutshell.
Saving this for every irrational discussion I have in the future.
So, according to this sign, if I’m on trial for being a serial killer, and I have a tremendous amount of faith that the charges against me are absolute BS, that means that I will be found not guilty despite a mountain of evidence against me? Because if facts don’t count, then everything presented to the jury would indeed not count, and would therefore have to be dismissed as evidence.
According to this bit of “divine wisdom,” criminals everywhere have a God-given get out of jail free card.
Unacceptable.
