"About 50 religious leaders circled over the country on Monday, chanting prayers and blowing the horns called "shofars".
The flight's aim was "to stop the pandemic so people will stop dying from it," Rabbi Yitzhak Batzri was quoted as saying in Yedioth Aharanot newspaper."
"We are certain that, thanks to the prayer, the danger is already behind us," added Mr Batzri.
Do I even have to say anything? It's hilarious because it's utterly insane -- it's less hilarious because there are more than the number of people on that plane that think that such nonsense is ... effective?
The rabbi is certain that the threat is over? Would he wager his belief in God on that?
